Oprah said it best. ‘Live your best life’ and now 3.5 million of your best friends on Instagram are doing the same thing.

I’m not a real mom. I don’t do room mom. I’m the last one in the car pool line. We forget to show up at birthday parties. Her clothes never match (thank goodness for uniforms) and forget about matching socks. Birthday treats aren’t baked, they are bought…if I remember.

But those are just things. I hope I’m instilling life lessons and I pray she grows up:

Dreaming big

Helping others (and furry friends)

Learning to unplug

Respecting others

Working hard

This is what it’s all about. Finding pure joy. She’s 7 going on 17 and one day she’s going to hate me. In the mean time, we are going to live our best lives together.
For me, life really is better on two wheels…and in the gym.
